H Beauty and Youth:
High-End Select Shop by United Arrows
April 9, 2025
H Beauty and Youth is a concept store under the well-known Japanese select shop United Arrows Ltd., created for the high-end city boy and girl. Located in the stylish Minami Aoyama district, just a short walk from Omotesandō Station, the store is a reflection of Tokyo’s modern, curated fashion culture.
Spread across three spacious floors, H Beauty and Youth offers everything from casual streetwear to elevated basics, with sections dedicated to jewelry, accessories, shoes, and even vintage pieces. The interior is sleek but warm, with art and bonsai trees thoughtfully placed throughout.
The store primarily features United Arrows’ in-house brands, such as Beauty & Youth and California General Store, but what makes it stand out is the well-rounded mix of Japanese designers, international favorites, and hand-picked vintage clothing. Each item feels intentionally selected, with the kind of quality and design-forward edge you’d expect from one of Tokyo’s top select shops. Some of our favorites we have found over the years such as, Kaptain Sunshine, Needles, C.E., and Aries are featured in the photos below. Their vintage clothing section on the basement floor is also quite impressive, and a definite recommended stop if you’re looking for vintage Levi’s, graphic T-Shirts, or vintage collegiate sweatshirts.
If you're looking to invest in a few key wardrobe pieces or simply curious about how locals dress, this is a great stop to get a feel for Tokyo’s elevated but approachable style. It’s not just about chasing trends—it’s about layering timeless pieces with just enough detail to feel unique.
The area also has several other interesting stores and cafés nearby, making it an easy addition to any Omotesando or Aoyama stroll. We find that it usually works best with our Harajuku shopping days where our typical itinerary is: HAY, Cibone, Palace Skateboards, then H Beauty and Youth.
